You've tried just about everything in the book to speed up your PC, but nothing seems to work. Is there anything else that you can do to get your computer to perform better? If you've been dealing with a slow computer and have exhausted your efforts and tried just about every trick in the book, then a complete Windows operating system reinstall might be the next step for you.You may have already tried to speed up your PC by performing certain activities such as freeing up disk space, or removing old programs, or eliminating disk errors, but if these methods are not working, then you may have to try the “when all else fails” strategy of reinstalling your operating system. This option is often times the solution that many people turn to because of the fact that it has such a high success rate in helping you speed up your PC. A complete reinstall basically gives you a clean slate because you're restoring your computer to the state that it was in when it left the factory. Once complete, your computer will be like new and will no longer contain any of the information that was added after you started using it for the first time. Things like personal files and installed software programs will no longer exist, and all settings will be restored to the factory defaults.
The benefit of completely reinstalling your operating system would include the elimination of any issues that you may have previously had with regard to malware, spyware, or any other types of viruses that made their way onto your computer. These types of issues would be eliminated and you would no longer have to worry about how to remove them. Also, by completely reinstalling your operating system, you would completely remove any stored data from your hard drives so all that would remain after the reinstall would be data that was used during the installation process. The only downside to this would be that if you failed to save off any data that you needed before performing the reinstall, it would be lost and you wouldn't be able to get it back.
The process of completely reinstalling your hard drive is a good way to give yourself a fresh start and if you want to try and speed up your PC, especially if you've tried just about every other solution with no results.
